About The Styling Gallery Below: It is not a ‘photo gallery’ per se, but a gallery of ‘storyboard’ art designed to help with color selections and how different colors and tones work together. In many cases & clients, I’ve discovered that wardrobe styling is the element of the ‘family portrait’ that, unfortunately, goes overlooked the most. Primarily because of not knowing exactly what to do. Not knowing color palettes, complimentary colors & colors that pop in a specific environment. I have taken my knowledge of the subject and put the ‘beach portrait’ genre in storyboard form. (See? I DID learn something at UCLA film school.) Enjoy the gallery below; perhaps, something will inspire the styling choices for your portrait. Of course, at the end of the day…these are suggestions that are known to complement one another in the environment in which will be working. The styles range from beach-casual to beach-chic to bold colors & neutrals to down-right kooky…from Casablanca panache to Star Wars chic.
